About me
Who am I?
My name is Ariana Medina and I am from Queens, New York.
I am the daughter of immigrants, and a first-generation college student. I graduated in May 2021 with a BFA degree in interior design at Parsons School of Design with two honors. I am currently attending my final semester of graduate school for architecture at Parsons.
Why design?
I am a designer of spaces because I want to be a part of an industry that is always changing. The idea of touching peoples' lives through the built environment is something that awes me. While some interiors and buildings come and go, thousands of memories would be made in a space that I helped create, which feels like leaving a mark on this world. I am passionate about empowering my community and hope to be a pioneer for change through design.
